If properly stored away, Foundations can last for 12 months while Concealers can last for up to 18 months.
Using the right applicators and brushes will also help prolong their lives.
Powders and Blushes
You should discard your powders and blushes after 2 years if you still have them.
They might not have expiry dates on them but they definitely will be expired after 2 years.
Lipglosses and Lipsticks
Your lipglosses can last for up to 6 months and your lipsticks for 12 months.
Mascaras and Liquid eyeliners
Eyeliners and Mascaras have a short life span because of how frequently we take the wand out, stick in our eyes and but back into the entire tube.

These are very likely to get contaminated by bacteria.
As a result, you should keep them for 3 to 4 months.
Eye Pencils
These can be kept for up to 2 years as long as you clean the tip before use and also sharpen.
Eye Shadows
Oily and liquid eye shadows can last for 12 months while the powder ones can last for up to 2 years of the brushes are kept clean.
Whatever the make-up, using the right applicators and keeping those applicators clean is key to making them last up to the expected time.
