The Chairman of Zamfara State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, Lawal Liman, has reacted to the judgement of the Appeal Court.
The statement was made by the party chairman while speaking with NAN in Gusau on Friday, he described the party’s victory as a welcome development.
Liman while reacting said, “this victory is not limited to APC and people of the state, we consider this as a victory to democracy.
“I think what the Appeal Court Abuja Division has done is a good step to protect democracy in this country.
“Democracy is all about protection of the rights of citizens, so this judgement has protected our rights,” he said.
He called on aggrieved members of the party to join hands to seek the victory of the party in the state.
“As I always say, Zamfara remains a stronghold of APC, people in the state are with APC leadership of Gov. Abdula’ziz Yari and President Muhammad Buhari,” he said.
He appreciated the party’s supporters in the state over their support and cooperation despite all the crisis.
“We sincerely have to thank our members from all 147 wards across 14 local government areas of the state.
“Despite the crisis, our members remained with us and whenever we call them they respond to us,” he added.
Liman assured people of the state that the APC governorship candidate in the state, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu-Idris, has good plans for the people of the state.
