After 72 hours in the den of kidnappers, three travellers abducted last Friday in Ondo State have regained freedom.
Gbalaja Mayowa, Arifayan Ayolekan and Ibrahim Lawal were all confirmed back to their family by the police.
It is not clear if any amount was paid for the release of the victims.
The state’s police spokesperson, Femi Joseph, confirmed the release of the victims.
He said investigations are ongoing to reveal and arrest the perpetrators.
Kidnapping for ransom is rampant in many parts of Nigeria.
