Ahead of Manchester United’s match against Manchester City, the club’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has warned his players to be ready for Man City’s tricks and tactical fouling.
The Red Devils are heading into the game following their 4-0 defeat by Everton on Sunday at Goodison park.
Solskjaer revealed that City are good with possession under their manager, Pep Guardiola but they are ready to challenge them at Old Trafford.
“We have got to be ready for their pressing.”
“They have got quality on the ball so we have got to defend well, and when we win it we have got to be ready for their aggression.”
“They will snap at your ankles and heels and kick you. They are not going to allow us easy counter attacking because there will be fouls, I have absolutely no doubt about it.”
“When you watch those games they commit so many players forward and they will be stopping us as high as they can I think,” Solskjaer told a press conference on Tuesday.”
