Lauretta Onochie, the personal assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media has reacted to the claim by the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria that the president was witch-hunting opposition.
The group in its claim had accused the president of witch-hunting the opposition through the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
HURIWA stated this while reacting to the president’s action allegedly using the security agencies and the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory to demolish the building of the African Independent Television in Abuja.
The Nigerian TV station belongs to a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Raymond Dokpesi.
The right group stated that Nigeria will be in a very bad state if the APC administration continues to run its tyrannical government.
The group used the opportunity to challenge the Nigerians to stop all forms of tyranny by the Buhari administration.
Onochie while reacting to the claim of HURIWA described it as a blackmail. She also charge the EFCC to arrest looters.
“The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has claimed that Pres. @MBuhari was using security agencies, especially EFCC, to witch-hunt members of the opposition.”
“Me: This is nothing short of blackmail. @officialEFCC must BRAVELY and COURAGEOUSLY Arrest all looters.”
