Muhammadu Buhari has been sworn in as the President of Nigeria for the second term at the Eagle Square in the Nigerian capital, Abuja on Wednesday.
He was inaugurated alongside the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
As expected, foreign leaders were not present because the federal goverment said it was going to be low key.
The major parts of the event had been rescheduled for June 12, which has been declared Democracy Day.
Mr Buhari won the February presidential election as he polled 55.6 per cent of the votes (15,191,847) to defeat Atiku Abubakar who polled 41.2 per cent (11,262,978).
