The Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, has been accused by Senator Dino Melaye, of planning to sell the State to Sterling Bank.
The lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district, stated that the state Governor is planning to borrow the sum of N32 billion from the bank.
The Senator promised to stop all effort of the state Governor by dragging the All Progressives Congress led administration to the court.
He stated this in his recent post on Twitter. He wrote: “Kogi State 4 sale soon as Yahaya Bello has concluded plans to borrow 32billion naira from Sterling Bank.”
“If Sterling Bank make the mistake of giving Akotileta this money. We will go to court bc there is no compliance with our extant laws. The Bank should expect massive protest.”
