The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has called for the arrest of Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, for alleging that he is planning to disrupt President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Mr Abubakar in a statement by his mothpiece, Paul Ibe said the Buhari government is trying to indict him and other leaders in the PDP.
He buttressed that the aim of Mr Lai Mohammed is simply to score political goals.
The former vice president advised that Mr Buhari administration should focus more on fighting insecurity rather than blackmailing him.
“With the conclusion reached by relevant security outfits that there is no evidentiary proof to back the claim by Lai Mohammed that the opposition was planning to upstage the government, we demand that the information minister should be arrested for a breach of security and an apology rendered to Atiku Abubakar and the PDP.”
