Buhari govt orders CJN Onnoghen to vacate office, to arraign him over asset declaration

The President Muhammadu Buhari drove Federal Government has requested the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen to promptly leave office.


Subsequently, the administration will on Monday January 14, 2019 charge the CJN before the Justice Danladi Yakubu drove Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) in Abuja on allegation of disappointments to pronounce his property as enforced by law and for running Bank Domiciliary Foreign Currency Accounts.

The allegation against Justice Onnoghensighted by PRNigeria has as of now being documented & served on him last Friday at his official home in Abuja preliminary for his appearing at the council.

The Federal Government among others is blaming Nigeria’s Head of the Judiciary of denial to proclaim his property in break of the arrangement of the Code of Conduct Bureau Act.
