The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, yesterday paid the former President Olusegun Obasanjo a visit in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The development was revealed in a statement signed by the ex-president’s media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi.
However, the details of the meeting were not given by Akinyemi.
“Abubakar arrived at about 12:00 pm, had a closed session with Obasanjo and came out at about 1:00 pm; observed his Islamic prayers and lunch before taking his leave at about 2:00 pm,”.
This will be the first time Atiku will meet with Obasanjo since President Muhammadu Buhari was declared the winner of the election.
