Atiku Dissociates Himself From Emerging Posters In Abuja

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has dissociated himself from the trending poster that was seen in
Abuja and its environs.

Recall that their had been reports that a poster of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic
Party, Atiku was seen in Abuja.

The posters had ‘Pukka’ written on it which means ‘Genuine’. The poster was seen after a news emerge that
the PDP presidential candidate pleaded for the help of two lawyers in Washington DC.

There were claims that he pleaded with the United States of America to recognise him as the winner of the
presidential election.

Atiku in his reaction to the allegation through his media adviser, Paul Ibe, dissociated himself from the posters, he further stated that he is focused on retrieving his stolen mandate.

“Our attention has been drawn to posters of His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election being circulated in Abuja.”

“We disassociate the former Vice President of Nigeria from the said posters in circulation.”

“The campaign season is over. The tainted electoral victory by the incumbent is being challenged in court.”

“We refuse to be distracted, which is exactly the objective of our opponents but to remain focused on
diligently pursuing our election petition with a view to retrieving the stolen mandate.”
